Reflection
Reflection
This poem is a work of Fiction. By the artist Jeila Ortega, me. Hope you will like and follow Twisted Art Gallery on Facebook and Instagram. Now, without further ado:
Go ahead
Take that poison pill and
stuff it down your throat.
I may only be a reflection,
but I see where this is going.
Or should I say where it ended.
I sound bitter you say.
Well, it ended too soon.
Now, I am only a reflection
Standing still
in a sea of memories.
I digress,
I must be
Bitter
Sweet
imprisoned
In your
Eternal
Despair
Only a reflection,
SCREAMING FOR YOU TO STOP!!!
But nothing will change
I am only a reflection,
THE PAST CAN’T BE CHANGED!!!!
I am only a reflection,
A collection of memories....
